Expand Your Artistic Business Abroad with Creative Export Canada!

Attention all Canadian artists! Are you looking to expand your business and increase your international presence? Look no further than the Creative Export Canada (CEC) program, provided by Canadian Heritage.

With a renewed funding envelope of $33 million for three years, the CEC program aims to help Canadian creative works achieve financial success abroad. The program has also expanded eligibility to include artistic craft as a new creative industry, and a percentage of funding will be reserved for companies and organizations where at least 50% of owners and/or board members self-identify as Indigenous peoples and/or members of equity-deserving communities.

There are two funding streams available through the CEC program: the Export-Ready Stream and the new Export Development Stream.

The Export-Ready Stream, formerly known as CEC, provides $7 million in funding per year to support export-ready projects that generate export revenues and help Canadian creative industries reach more people around the world. The application deadline for this stream is April 26, 2023.

The new Export Development Stream provides $4 million in funding per year to support projects from companies and organizations with little to no export experience. This stream is designed to help these companies and organizations enter international markets where they currently have little to no sales, expand their sales internationally, and develop international business networks. The application period for this stream will be announced in the coming months.

Don’t miss out on this incredible opportunity to grow your artistic business and expand your reach internationally.
